"A Christ Centered Community of Learners Guided by Our Catholic Traditions"
Many of our students are taking advantage of the Michigan School Meals Program, which provides free breakfast and lunch to all school-age children attending ASCS, including preschool, elementary, and middle school students. We recently learned that the state requires us to use a different Education and Nutrition Benefits form than the one distributed at the beginning of the school year. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we ensure our paperwork meets the state’s requirements.
On Monday, ASCS will celebrate All Saints Day with a special parade featuring students dressed as their favorite saints! Following the parade, students will enjoy hot cocoa and have the opportunity to explore the Blessed Solanus Casey Traveling Museum.Blessed Solanus Casey dedicated his life to serving others and helping those in need. During the Great Depression, he helped establish the Capuchin Soup Kitchen in Detroit in 1929, providing food and support to those experiencing hardship. His example of faith, humility, and service reminds us of the importance of living like the saints by showing Christ’s love to others.
May you grow in God’s love and peace,
Melissa Doubek

We are looking for families to volunteer to present the bread, wine and offertory (the gifts) to the priest during each of the Masses on the weekend.
Can you help?
It is a simple but very needed ministry.
Please talk to me to go on the schedule or ask the ushers at Mass if you are needed for this ministry on that day.
Bless you and Thank you! Mrs. Doubek and Mrs. Benson

STUDYING GOD’S NATURAL CREATIONS
This week, our preschool students explored the story of Creation and learned about the many wonderful things God has made. After discussing Creation in small groups, they put their learning into action with an integrated science lesson outdoors! The students ventured onto the nature trail to appreciate the beauty of God’s creation while participating in a fun nature scavenger hunt. It was a wonderful opportunity to explore, discover, and celebrate the beauty of the world God has given us!
